As promised, KidMag is giving you a quick, dairy-free smoothie that is super delicious and healthy! This smoothie is great for breakfast, lunch, or whenever you want a snack.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of ice cubes
- Peanut butter or almond butter (preferably almond butter though)
- Almond milk
- Whole banana
- Flaxseed (optional)
- Dates

Order of ingredients
Ice cubes
A whole banana-to make it easier to blend, split it in half like this:
Almond milk
Almond butter or peanut butter (we’re using almond butter)
Three or four dates (This is where the smoothies sweetness comes from. Trust us, you won’t taste them)
Flaxseed (optional)
This is what it should look like from above before you blend it.
Hit the blend button and let it blend for about 30-40 seconds, or until you think its ready. Make sure to ask an adult to help you when you reach this part.
Once it is done blending, take out a glass (a large one, preferably) and pour the smoothie.
There you go, a delicious dairy-free, smoothie!
